Some relationships can be weighed down by things that often aren't in someone's control - or at least not in one persons control.

Take this Redditor for example, who's boyfriend is a smoker (trying to quit). Thinking she could help him, she gives him an ultimatum of quit or miss out on once in a lifetime events that she gets free tickets for. Problem is, quitting smoking isn't often so straightforward - as has been brought to light by her boyfriend who is struggling and upset that she has given him this ultimatum.

While the girlfriend labelled herself as 'stubborn' both are standing their ground and can't meet in the middle as to whether this is fair or not.
